Matthew Alexander Creations is the studio of Matthew Alexander, an architectural and interior designer based in Temecula, Southern California. For more than thirty years, Matthew has created, developed, installed and supervised design projects across the country and abroad — always with the same conviction: it is not about the designer or the trend, it is about helping clients define their style.

A designer, almost from birth
Matthew's eye for space showed early. As a boy he was sketching detailed house plans; by eleven he had earned his first commission — a beach house — and later designed his own family's home, a residence still lived in nearly forty years on. Growing demand led him to formal training at the Interior Design Institute in Newport Beach, California, where instinct met discipline.
Three decades, many rooms
Officially established in 1995, the studio grew through referral and reputation. Matthew became a trusted "designer's designer" for leading firms across Orange County, Riverside and San Diego, and built a national clientele along the way — even establishing retail design boutiques in Indian Wells and Temecula. His background spans architecture, construction, project management and interior design, so a single point of view can carry a project from first sketch to final install.
A philosophy of service
Matthew considers it his responsibility to fully serve each client — with education, professionalism and, often, friendship. Every project is unique, and every plan is shaped around the way a client actually lives. Challenges are treated as catalysts; taste is treated as personal. The measure of success is simple: a space that feels like you, and a client who would happily begin the next project tomorrow.

The hands behind the renderings
Josie's creative path began by dressing window displays, then deepened into the details of kitchen and bath design. A valued member of the studio for nearly a decade and a Westwood College graduate, she produces the digital interior and exterior construction renderings that bring Matthew's concepts to life on the page — the crucial bridge between an idea and a buildable plan.
When she isn't rendering, her evenings and weekends are happily full of mom duties to three kids.

Based in the Temecula Valley, Matthew Alexander Creations serves clients throughout San Diego County, Orange County, the Inland Empire and the Coachella Valley — and, by referral, well beyond California. Design is neither stationary nor stagnant; ideas cross borders into cities, communities, homes and businesses looking for a fresh perspective.
Once we've defined your style, you own the drawings and may proceed with or without our continued representation. When you'd like us to see it through, we resource and interview local structural engineers, custom builders and skilled sub-contractors — anywhere in the world — and guide the team at every step.
